Winery and wine branding

Your winery, remembered before the first sip.

We build winery brand identities people remember. From the label and logo to the story behind every bottle. Everything that makes your winery recognizable.

Philosophy

A bottle is chosen before it's opened.

Your winery's visual identity makes the purchase decision before the first sip. It's what the consumer sees on the shelf, on a wine list or in a tasting room — and what makes them reach for your bottle.

Manifesto

Only wine. Only wine country.

We work only with wine. It's the only category we do, and we know it down to the smallest detail — from the vineyard block to the shelf across the country.

1

We know the terrain

Zinfandel, Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay. Napa, Sonoma, Russian River, Dry Creek. We speak your winery's language, not the language of generic marketing.

2

Specialization brings quality

Every project deepens our understanding of this market. Every label, every brand story and every client brings knowledge we carry into the next project.

3

Your consumer is our consumer

We understand the by-the-glass list in San Francisco, the tasting room, the grocery shelf and the distributor portfolio. We position you for all of those worlds.

Why specialization

Old-vine Zinfandel isn't positioned like Cabernet. Russian River Pinot doesn't tell the same story as a Napa Cab. Someone has to understand those differences before designing a label.

Selected work

From our studio.

A few bottles that show how a written strategy becomes a visual identity — from the winery's character to the strokes on the label.

Coming soon

The first projects from our studio are in the works and will appear here soon: labels and visual identities designed to make a winery stand out on the shelf.

Next project

Your bottle could be here.

We take on a small number of projects each year. If you're building a winery that deserves a real brand, let's talk.

Founders
Founder of Brend Biro

You work directly with us.

Ivan and Anastasija Aleksić Founders

When you book a call, you talk directly to us. There's no team taking a brief and passing it to designers, no coordinators translating your wishes. Two people understand your wine and draw your brand, from the first conversation to the final file.

Specializing in one category isn't a compromise. It's the only way to do this well. Brend Biro is deliberately small — we choose projects carefully, because each one we take on directly affects how well we can do the next.

Why us

We know wine country from the inside — from Serbian vineyards to Napa and Sonoma.

01Zinfandel and Pinot Noir don't tell the same story — not on the label, not in positioning
02A label for a Healdsburg tasting room isn't the same as a label for a by-the-glass list in Manhattan
03Distributor sell sheets can't just be your tasting-room brochure with a new cover
04Estate Chardonnay and old-vine Zinfandel tell different stories even when they come from the same winery
05A brand that works on a wine list has to work just as well in the tasting room
And that's why we do wine, exclusively.
Services

Everything your brand needs.

Logo, label, typography, website and event materials — everything that makes your winery recognizable. And each of those elements grows out of a clear strategy, not a passing whim or trend.

Brand strategy

A written brand brief: positioning, target customer and tone of voice. The foundation everything else grows from.

Logo and visual identity

A mark, colors and typography that form a system — working equally well on the bottle and on screen.

Label and bottle design

Front and back label, capsule and cork. The heart of every wine brand.

Verbal identity

The name of the winery and its wines, the brand story and the language you use with your customer.

Packaging design

Gift boxes, wooden crates and transport packaging worthy of what's inside.

Website and social media

From a simple one-pager to a complete website, with Instagram templates.

Trade tastings and events

Distributor tastings, competitions and club events: booth design, sell sheets and presentations.

Distributor and on-premise materials

Wine lists, shelf talkers and portfolio materials for restaurants and retail.

How we work
Brand strategy

We listen.

Before the first pencil stroke, we sit down and listen to what your winery has to say: its history, ambition, soil and consumer. All of it goes into a written brand brief that you sign off on. Only then does the visual work begin.

Visual identity

We define.

We propose two completely different directions and choose the right one together. You see your bottle before it exists — on the shelf, on the wine list and on screen — so there are no surprises at the end.

Handover

We deliver.

You leave with a complete identity and, more importantly, a clear understanding of how to use it. On a handover call we walk through everything, so nothing stays a black box — not for you, not for the printer.

Who we're for

Do you recognize yourself here?

We don't work with everyone, and that's on purpose. If you recognize yourself in one of these moments, we probably speak the same language.

01

Identity redesign

Your identity no longer reflects the quality of the wine you bottle today.

02

New winery

You're building a brand from day one and want to set it up right, from the start.

03

Distribution and trade tastings

You're growing beyond the tasting room — into distribution, trade tastings and competitions.

04

Restaurant placement

You're getting into restaurants and need an identity that holds its own on a wine list.

A good brand gives people a reason to remember you.
